The Kolomoki Society will have it's annual Indian artifact show this Saturday, May 21, at the American Legion Post located 1.5 miles south of Donaldsonville, GA on Highway 39. Set up begins at 7:00 a.m. and it usually ends around 3:00 p.m. There is no charge and there will be a fish fry for lunch. We'd love to have you.

Are they just displaying finds or do they sell to?

If I lived in Georgia I'd go for sure! It's been a long long time since I've been down that way but when I was a girl and we'd stop in to look at the exhibits and mounds at Kolomoki Mounds Park it was fascinating. I was just showing someone at work their website and talking about the mounds. Are these the peoples who made the beautiful artifacts you find in your fields?

I can't answer that. I live several hours away from Donaldsonville.
