Bacchus was the Ancient Greek God of Wine. Those bottle 'necklaces' are attractive and relatively inexpensive--though I have no idea who or when they were manufactured.

mine is very similar to the second one LISTED ONE ABOVE* except it has the word "port" on it instead of "chablis"--- the maunufacter's name -- BACCHUS PEWTER USA --IS ON THE REAR -- I'm trying to find out about them to attempt to date the item -- mine is minus the chain & just the "name plate" --- its called a "bottle placard" - in the booze trade. -- the "name tag" hung on a chain put around the bottles neck tells you whats in the bottle.
