Knock on wood might have found the perfect dump bank

So I go into one of my dump banks this week to drop off a small amount. I usually have to depost $50 to $100 throughout to the week to avoid sending them off to be miscounted elsewhere tying up my money.

I give the teller the rolls and she says "My manager wants to collect some rolls, and I got others asking for them for thier kids, do you have more?". Sure I answer, I got a full box. She takes the $500 and happily tells me "just bring what you have each week, I'll take what I can". Careful what you wish for! muahahaha!

Awesome.. I would definitely be dropping at least 500 there every week It is interesting how different your experiences can be if you try different banks. Some have fantastic tellers and managers and some don't.. It is always worth looking around to find the best ones.. Happy Hunting..

Do they know you hunt? Seems like they might want to do some hunting themselves. Once they figure out your coins are searched, they may be less inclined to take all you have. Might as well take advantage while you can!

Aint that the truth. A old man rolled into the bank that I dump at picking up more halves because the last batch he got were full of goodies. I dont care about NCIF or the non silver proofs, I have yet to find one in a condition worth keeping so he can have them.

Right I dont bother with proofs so I put those back in. The manager over the bank has all the tellers saving for him but she did mention someone was looking for halve rolls so likely some CRH that doesnt know they can order or a clad collector.
