Wow! Never seen one of those before.

Very collectable to the right buyer.

Is this for real? I couldn't help but notice the date on it is the 8th of July, 1928, and today is the 8th of July :o

That's some kind of coincidence...and like 4-H ask, where or what the heck was it in that it's in such nice shape?

I was going through and microfilming a bunch of old police master files once upon a time years ago and found several of these cards belonging to people who were arrested. For some reason, legal or not, the police confiscated them and put them in their master files. They dated from the late 1800s up to about the early 1930s. They were issued as membership cards by the KKK of course and the other information is regarding the Klavern to which they belong, etc. A master file is a file containing a person's criminal record and a Klavern is like a particular section or area of the Klan. The ones I saw were mostly pristine. Monty

nice card there and great shape. from what I have seen in auctions ect it should be worth $150 to start and if you can document other info on the name on it like if he was in the public eye or anything it could go much higher. and just having the name and date and shape I would figure it at about $250 to $350 value.but finding a serious collector can be hard some times.
