Knights of Pythias organized in 1864. I'm thinking , just from the style, this plate might be near that period, but ONLY a hunch. I think it would, however be too late to have seen any Civil War action, even if this organization participated, but I think they were more peace oriented. Please feel free to take a wild guess as to value--whatever you say is more than I now know! Thanks.

Note that the item was FOR SALE when I referenced it; now, today, it's shown as being SOLD. So maybe it did go off at $35. Glad to have helped.

Thanks again, Don. I'm the one who bought it! The seller said that it was from a de-accessioned collection of Civil War relics from around the 1920's--I thought that was pretty cool!
