Knight in armor

Not much to look at or go on. I can tell you the site this was found at has a history that dates to 1811. Dug this at 7 inches and it was a bear to actually find the little guy.

That thing is extreamly familiar...

It's the top of a car emblem... I can not remember which one...

Jim, you're right. It has similarities to the Dodge emblem.

It's non-magnetic and no rust was on it as you can see.

ME, ah, that didn't help. My son is a metallurgical engineer, but not me. Got a clue what the metal is? Obviously not iron, probably not lead, doubt it's nickle. Does it say sterling? Sorry ... am cranky with hay fever. Noodle

No I'm sorry it doesn't. I think it is probably pot metal. Could be pewter it is heavy enough.

Scrub that thing down so we can tell for sure if it's a battle mask or huge teeth!
Still think it's a charm of some sort.

My first thought when I saw it was that is was a pendant - feathers missing from the top - I went to Littleton High School and we were the Crusaders - looks ALOT like our mascot...

Started having flashbacks...
