Knife Holder? Picture Frame Hanger? Need some help on this one!

Hi Everyone,

I need some help with this one.

It's a small, square, thin iron square 1 1/2x2 inches. It has two holes for mounting purposes.
Two indentical rods come out from the front and are bent slightly backwards toward the back.



Any help you could give would be much appreciated!!

hmmm, maybe so and I can see why it looks like one but from the angle of the pic it looks like they coulda added a little more length to it so you weren't smashing the hooks inward with the hammer when you hung it. know what i mean?

Any chance it could be a mounting clip for a belt?
