While hunting a local beach I found a large folding knife with an "Old Timer" brass shield on the side. I knew Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives were made by Shrade Cutlery Company who made cutlery and pocket knives for years. I checked on yahoo search engine and found out that Shrade had gone out of business in 2004. That being the case, in a few years pocket knives, etc made by Shrade Cutlery Co will become collectors items. For them to be valuable they will have to be in excellent to new condition at least for fifty years or so! So, if you come across any Old Timer or Uncle Henry pocket knives you might want to buy them and put them back to pass on to your heirs. JIM

Jim,

my "heirs" and wife are already worried on what I will be passing on to them. They have gotten a view of a small portions of my "finds" that will be passed on when the Good Lord cashes me in.

Anyone else get strange looks from their heirs and relatives?
