Would guess it is a dress up knife but i'm sure there knife guys out the what know a lot more about it.PLEASE wade in and inform me!!! As to the other item, guessing some kind of bell? Any info most welcome. IMG_0479.JPGIMG_0480.JPG

Yeah, one of those bells they had on hotel counters, or rang for the maid in Victorian times. Had a handle on it. To small for a classroom bell. Funny story. My father in law went to a one room school in South Dakota, I don't know how many kids, but more than a dozen, perhaps two, and he was the only boy. He killed a rat in the barn, brought it to school and slipped it into the teachers bell. When the rat fell out, her and the rest of the girls were screaming bloody murder, the teacher threw the bell, breaking a hole in the lath and plaster wall. And of course the school marm instantly knew who had done the dastardly deed, him having absolutely no cover. Must have been fun to be a farm kid in those days.
