Hi,

I recently acquired this token. It appears to be a charity token for a KKK orphanage Klan Haven.

Diameter: 35 mm. Weight: 16,55 g. Rim: 2 mm. Looks bronze.

I'm wondering if it is genuine or a reproduction. Anybody knowledgeable on these items around to help me out? I understand there is a catalogue about them as well.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Best wishes

looks real, you can find buttons for sale on the internet, and saw mention of the medallion like that one, but they seem to be rare

Great information, thank you both for your response.

I have no idea about its actual value, but at the moment I'm inclined to keep it. It has awakened my interest in the subject.

it is likely to be real -- there was a orphanage (klan haven) that the klan supported from what I found upon checking online just now -- duke university has a collection of klan stuff from 1920 to 1968 * and stated that info about klan haven..
