Up here in Maine, the original Kings Highway ran though up to Canada, and some of it is now Rt1, some here, some there. Lots of Eastern States have their own "King's highway" section created from the original single route.

I have a book that has little hand drawn sections of King's Highway in Maine.

What I am intersted in is finding some sections of King's highway in New Hampshire. I have heard of some very interesting sites out in the middle of the woods, along the original route and I would like to be able to find them.

Any help with this would be much appreaciated!

thanks,

frank

Re: Kings Highway

NOT the area your asking for,
But I figure maby you would like to see
a Former Post Office which dates to the late 1700's
sitting in a cow pasture along the Former Kings Highway, Here.

Re: Kings Highway

Have you had any Luck up there yet Frank ?

Check old Newspapers.

Here is Info with LEADS from one of Todays Papers on the Kings Highway near me.

you may be able to get leads in your area the same way.
