Looks like an old Barber's razor. Nice keepsake from your Grandpa.

Before WW1 and the Safety Razor, most American men only shaved once or twice a week. The safety razor became popular because G.I.'s needed to stay clean shaved so their gas masks would fit properly and if it was good enough for the troops it should be good enough for the folks at home. The strops (leather looking belt thing) were to keep a fine edge on the razor but it was an art to keep them very sharp. Tinkers would go house to house to sharpen your razor or knifes. No idea on value but you might look at epay. Good luck.

Cool find, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Does not seem that any of the boxes match the razors. THe blade only is only half there. The stops dont fetch a lot. I think the intact razors would bring 20 25 dollars each
