tried looking for gold in a new place instead found these yesterday. Found 4 or 5 more not quit as interesting though. 1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg
 

So what are you thinking it is? It looks somewhat like agatized wood to me
 

the interesting thing about that rock is the transparent pokadots. I found another one last year ,just posted these pics , that has sea creatures,snail like things, there is one of those creatures in the first post. maybe the spots are
part of shrimp or fish or something. don't know whether it is agate or opalized for what the difference is. it is hard to see but the crystallized looking ball is the creature without its shell. Mabey dots are just wood grains never saw that before. Looks cool

The first piece looks like petrified palm wood to me.
 

Last pics are braciopods (fossilized sea shells). Looks like in limestone w/cut edge?
