Had an absolutely killer day relic hunting! Went detecting after lunch and had one of the best hunts I've ever had (for the amount of time given).
Here it all is!
Front of a Beautiful pewter tombac button (only relic I dug at my house, the rest I dug at a friend's house.)
Cool suspender clip I found (always love to find them!)
This drawer pull was one of the first targets I dug. A furniture maker I know told me this is from a Hepplewhite piece. Also told me that it dates 1790s-1830s
Found this cool little anchor button. Possibly navy??
This is my first pocket watch. It isn't in the best of shape, but still a cool find!
And last, but definitely not least is the fire department badge! On the front it says: Poultney, Hose, 1, Poultney, VT. On the back it says: J.M. Bushey. I am guessing this is the firefighter it belonged to. This badge is from a nearby town. I am guessing that it is from the early 1900s.
Thank You for taking the the time to read this long post!!
