I am having trouble getting a positive id on this thing. It is made of aluminum. The U.S.A. shield spins. You can see the rivet on the back side and the "Hong Kong" stamp. My theory is that it is a kids toy ring from the 60s. I could be way off. Since it is not intact it might not even be a ring.

When I did a google search, I came up with nothing. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks!

I have scoured all 928 pages of my book on character toys and cereal box premiums, and have come to the conclusion that your item is probably a generic flicker ring out of a gumball machine or something of that nature. Nothing like it appears in the reference that I could find.

Thanks for checking, Creskol. I was afraid it might be just a generic gum ball machine ring. Oh well.

That sucker would go in a display case along with my other toy rings, badges, etc. .. I love finding stuff like that!
