I just finished up a hunt with the guys from NY, north Jersey, Ohio, and North Carolina (Eastcoasthunter, Triple555nickle, Bart(can't think of his handle) Scrappy, Locodigger, Carolina Tom, ans Smittyman. We all got to hunt Sunday with Charlie(eastcoastdigger, rep of bramble boys) hosting in the harsh woods environment(only to a fat out of shape, spoiled field hunter like myself) I found a iron, little head, sleigh bell, button, garbage and trash. Some really good finds came out of those woods that day, made by Loco, Smittyman, Bart, Charlie, Steve, and Tom. I'll let them chime in there finds, I'm posting mine. Sunday we went with Scrappy hosting, I found a wheaty, bell, garbage and trash, I left early feeling under the weather because of my health issues. Tue, Tom and Smittyman(reps of silver mafia) came down to my neck of the woods, long story short, my finds at the end of the day were a King George II copper and a cool looking little button. Today I found the 1752 Spanish Pillars and Globes Half Real along with a 1775 Conneticut Copper state coin in very nice shape. Tom had a very special hunt today, again, his story, we will hear from in I'm sure within a few days. I had much fun hunting and socializing with a bunch of great guys, great memories. I took three pix of where we were hunting to show the golf course conditions I'm accustom to hunting. (sing this like that creedance clearwater revival song) "soybean and short grass forever.........."

Enjoy the pix

Nice variety of oldies. Congrats on the 1752 spanish silver.
Thank you

Wow. Awesome coins!
Thanks

Good Job Brad!!
Thanks Ken
When we showed up at the hayfield, it was in the process of being sprayed in S&*% they are plowing it and planting in corn. Next year it should be "turned" and ready for a new hunt. The farm that you and I stopped at where the young couple wanted to be home, ended up being the star permission. Tom found a very special find there. I might get in one more hunt before they plant the corn, very exciting hunts.

Sounds like the Hayfield is going to get exciting, or should I say more exciting :) can't wait to hear what the big find was!!

Watching you pull a Spanish silver, then walk 10 feet and pull that CT. copper made me dizzy. I was just stunned by that little lesson in metal detecting. I just could not believe that you nailed two sweet coins in 5 minutes! That motivated (read: terrified) me into picking up the pace.

I can not thank you enough from hooking me and Smittyman up, the spots were as picturesque as I have ever hunted. I found the best coin that I have ever found, and had an absolute blast.

I can ot thank you enough for hosting us!

Best of luck, and may your pouch be full of treasure!

You are most welcome, I'm glad you both found some great finds, poor Smittyman didn't get quite as lucky on my sites as you did, but at least he pulled some treasure up in North Jersey. I'm truly happy you guys got to get out of that dessert of a home and share our countries old roots with some colonial goodies that us Northeast hunters are lucky enough to live in. Location, location, location. Don't keep everyone in suspense, just post those two pix I took of that beauty of a coin, when you get home, tell the story?

I see the TNet boys are at it again! Congrats on your finds, Treble. I look forward to reading the posts of the other guys. -Lisa & John

Nice hunt and finds! I think you are mistaking a CFT.1775 KG III for your Conn. Copper.

Congratualtions on the nice finds and sharing time with fellow Tnet members! :notworthy:

Looks like y'all had a great hunt. Guess I'll be hearing from the Charlotte Twosome tomorrow after they get back home. Congrats on some great ginds

Awesome finds and making friends.
Ain't nothing better.
