KGC parade ground?

I have a recently obtained a book that gives the location to what is termed as a Knights of the Golden Circle "parade grounds" that was occupied after the Civil War. The book said it was located in a meadow type area. Would the surrounding places be some spots to seriously consider checking out? Serious replies only, please. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but I do appreciate historically relevant and reliable leads, hints, and tips. Sorry if I have offended anyone, but I want to stick to the books on this one. Thanx.

It would depend on what you are looking for. If it was an actaul "parade ground" then there is a good chance you could find artifacts at the spot. As for actual buried treasure, I would not think they would bury or hide treasure at a location that was known as a gathering point for the group. They were a lot smarter than that.
