Me and my son hit a new field today for about 3 hrs. He was excited over a 40 wheat cent we dug when we first got there. At least it dosnt take much to make him happy lol. Not finding to much in one spot so a lot of walking between finds We found the six buttons throughout the field. One being one of my favorite tombacs I've found. It has a six pointed star. In the back of the field it's a little wet and that's where the smooth KG III come from. By then he was about done so headed out. Should be a good spot to hit again. HH!

Those are some great finds. I'd like to see a close up of the KG if possible. Congrats!

He should be pumped. That tombac is cool and any coin from the 1700's is great. Always makes my day to see them.

Nice Tombac...the detail is really nice.
