"Keys"

Obviously, this has something to do with keys, but is it an actual key? key to what? It measures about 1 3/8 inch and is identical on both sides. Does anyone know what it is and the time from which it comes? Thanks!

Looks like a key fob and is shaped like a pistol grip.

HEYS,not KEYS, makes luggage so I can easily buy into HUntinDog's idea this is a zipper pull--from a HEYS piece of luggage; and SD51's thought it being of a pistol grip design.
