I don't Know

already down to 43 & Feels like 35 tonight
according to the Duval Street cams.

Perhaps their Guages are off

Or different areas.

Miami beach is 5 degrees warmer on lincoln road

20 here Our High today was a Balmy 23f

The all-time record low for Key West is 41° F (5° C) set in 1981. Source NOAA. The island is only about 2 x 4 miles in size, not much room for temp differentials, they need to calibrate that temp guage or something. :icon_sunny:

Sunny and 72 in Austin,Texas,but a bit windy. :laughing7:

8 at 6:30 this morning . Peaked at 14 and back to 11 as I post this . Wood stove is eating firewood like a kid glomming M&Ms .

I was in Miami back in the mid 70's for the first DEMA show (Diving Equipment Manuf. Assoc) and it Snowed!!!
It was apparently the first recorded snowfall in Miami.. I was standing under a palm tree outside the 4 Seasons, and basking in the thought that I had never in my entire life, been outside and warm in January. Surenuff, the following morning, I was scraping ice of the windshield of the truck, just like I would have done at home.. From what I heard, it also snowed in Nassau on the same day.. Anchorage Alaska was 68 on that day too.. As for here and now, my son-inlaw has 150 cm of snow on the ground at his farm jut south of Georgian bay 150cm=59 inches. In Southern Ontario on the hwy to Sarnia, the Military airlifted 200 people stranded in their cars to safety. Nothing was moving in the drifts, and over 8 feet of snow.. I have about 8-10 inches outside my house, (about 50 miles N. of Toronto) and consider myself darn lucky..

All I can say is thank god for global warming, or we might be in 'real' trouble :tongue3:
