Found this in my backyard tonight. It's a little over an inch long.

The front says the Kirk-Latty MFG Co. Cleveland OHIO. "if found, drop in letter box"

Back has the number 708 stamped and I think it says STOWE BOLTS or STOVE BOLTS. It says STERLING in small print on the bottom.

I looked up the company. It was established in 1830. They manufactured bolts, tricycles , and pedal cars.

Could this be a locker key tag for someone who worked at this place? Is this silver?

Amazing Money making opportunity :) You send them quarter and an addressed stamped envelope. They issue you a fob with a unique number. If the keys are lost and tossed into a mailbox they paid the postage to get them to them. Look up your number and drop them in the envelope and ship to you. For a quarter :)
