1970 is the key.

Thanks, what is the significance of 70's???

Simply put: they're really, really hard to find.

I will keep my eyes open, I am new to this whole CRH'ing, have dabeled in coin collecting for years, but I took the plunge and bought 100 dollars worths of halves got 4-40%, and 1-90%..Im hooked...lol....Its like money for nothing, even my girlfreind thinks it is pretty neat. Thanks all for the replys...Tom

Welcome to the hunt, and good luck!

Halves newer than 2002. 1987's. Some people save 1982's. 1970 and older.

Simply put: Before '71, after '01, '87 and and "s" mintmarks.

Tell me, after searching 45,950 halves, I am still looking for that elusive 1970. And a Barber. I did finally find a few Walkers in a box.
