key, coins, token, buckels and a crappin' dog

I made it out twice this weekend, Here are pics of some of the finds,
The key is a P&F C ( P&F Corbin) the nickel is a 1945 S war nickel. 1951d wheat, parking token from
Cassopolis MI, and a strange casting of a dog dropping a duce.
Found some costume jewelry and other stuff. My son and my wife found some good stuff as well.
Woops I also dug a 1934 wheat, looked like an 84 so I didn't look at the obverse. just cleaned the rest of the coins.

lol at the dog droppin one

I wanna dig one of those dogs!

Check that hole twice :tongue3:

LOL I think it will be my new monopoly piece.

I would just carry it with me at all times... Monopoly, paperweight, hood ornament... the possibilities are endless.

The cast of the dog "droping the deuce" as you say is hilarious--never heard that expression before, but I like it! I call the finished products "land mines" that are strategically placed around my yard by my dog :laughing7: I tend to step on 'em from time to time! :cussing:

If I'm not mistaken, that dog used to have a pellet/stick/something that was stuck in there and when it was lit it would start doing the "duece".
Something like one of those "snake pills" that, once lit started making a long black, carbon snake.

Now, I was wrong once before in my life, so don't take as gospel. LOL

Neat finds!
HH!

I gotta say its my strangest find from my yard yet.

That is funny....................nice finds

I'm still here laughing at your expression "dropping a deuce!" Too funny! :laughing7:

I have one of those ubiquitous "Black Dog" shirts that I picked up at the cape a few years back. Some where up there I found a similar one that said "Bad Dog" with the same pic of the black dog droppin' a deuce--I had to buy it! :occasion14:
