Kew West Florida Metal detectors rentals and spots?

Have seen the Florida - rental info - request, a couple times and there hasn't been any real firm answers. Could re-try on beach / shallow water post. Maybe the Mel Fisher treasure museum on the key might have some info. or ideas.
As far as where you can / can't, wreck sites can be under contract to salvage groups. The site will be encircled ( map not the actual site ) and you may not hunt with a detector on it ( sorta like a gold mining claim ). It would be YOUR responsibility to know where you are hunting.
However, the beach from tide line to dune is huntable, even if the site circle would cover a beach area. ( you can't go in the water, everyone can do the beach.
The keys have alot of protected areas and under water parks, so just because it's a beach or open water area, it may still be off limits. You will need specific area information and guidance.
