Sometime in the late 1890's, a man living on the Big Branch Creek in Breathitt county found a gallon bucket full of silver coins. He looked for another that he thought was there, but never found them. He lived a mile east of Kragon. His house is said to still be standing on the south side of the creek. The man died in 1920, not revealing where he actually found the bucket of silver. Could be one of Swift's mines nearby.
