Kennedy Set on HSN tv

I was just looking at the 78 coin set of Kennedy halves on HSN. In BU condition in a book for $399.00
The guy said the 1970D Kennedy was the most rare. Going by that, not knowing the prices on the others, what would you
think the complete set would be worth? It's on HSn now, 10:30pm

I just found an ad in Coin World, 82 coin set for $289.

If it is sold on HSN or any other of the TV marketeers you can bet it is overpriced and probably over graded.

Also beware of those full page ads that run in your local newspaper from time to time. We had one here a few weeks back offering Oregon quarters in 25 coin rolls (that is 5.25 face) for the amazing price of $1.00 + $11.95 Shipping and handling.

The kicker was that the seller had printed up special wrappers that said something like "Reserved for Residents of Oregon". They ran the ad in a bunch of Oregon papers, and set up times to call based on your area code. They made it sound like it was something official from the mint and that you were helping them out by buying a roll or two or twenty
