Keeping boxes of brand new coin?

I'd keep one solid box... it's only $25, why not?
Last year I got 2 solid boxes of 2012-D cents, I still have them unopened, who knows what they might bring 50 years from now, especially if the likelihood of having a "one cent" COIN will be unlikely due to advancements in technology/following the footsetps of our neighbor to the north.

I have a box of 2013-P to trade if you have the -D mint. I have a guy who wants a box of the -D since I already sold him a full box of -P. he is also interested in 2013 quarters , dimes, and nickels. So let me know if you come across any in your searches. I would be game for a box of -D and -P nickels and a few rolls of each mint (each theme) of the quarters.

I'm not near denver's mint and still got 2 new boxes of 2012-D pennies, i don't really think location matters where you get your uncirculated coin boxes from.

I was thinking of holding on to a box of 2013 cents when I get one hunting and then selling them later. It looks like the older ones go for premiums. A 2008 sold for $63 + shipping on ebay not too long ago. Any thoughts?

:headbang:I say go for it. I've got some boxes of Canadian cents hoarded away. I bought a bunch of Hockey and Baseball card sets over 20 years ago that are still unopened and still in the original plastic wrap. They're worth a heck of a lot more now then what I paid for them back then. I would love to get my hands on a few boxes of brand new US cents for myself. Besides, there is absolutely no risk involved.

Is there any productive outcome from finding BU rolls of halves? I have a truck full of them (mostly '94 and '95 rolls) that I'm going to release back into the wild. They're nice looking coins but I have no use for them...

I hate the 95's because they are so shiny that they look like a proof but I get like a 100 in every box.

I was keeping one p and d from each year, but two weeks ago I just sent them back out into the wild except for the NIFC's and my 87's. it felt good because they were eating into my bankroll and probably would result in a very slim margin of profit. Oh well....

Sent from my iPhone using TreasureNet

Talk to your local LCS, I just traded a roll of 2009D uncirculated halves for a ton of coin holders =)
