Keepin' It Real!
Hi all. Well after my unbelievable first outing with the MXT (4 silver coins and an off center nickel), I spent about 3 hours digging 80+ pieces of scrap metal out of my front yard yesterday. Not one coin, not one! That was one tasty piece of humble pie! But that's the flip side of the coin..No pun intended. Talked with OnionHead for about an hour and a half today and got some pointers about park hunting. As nice a guy as you'd want to meet. Quick with the tips that have worked for him and offered to share his favorite honey holes! Afterwards, I hit a small park near my home and scooped about 3 bucks in clad in 90 minutes. First public appearance for me with a metal detector. So thanks for the pep talk today Onion, and No, my MXT is NOT for sale. ~CO2
