I've enjoyed looking through everyones finds from day to day even more the past several months, it helps keep me sane being stuck over here in the sand. Wish I could stumble across a good eyeball find here and there but it hasn't happened yet, well, nothing I could keep anyway. This is about the coolest thing I've seen yet. Unexploded ordinance + C4 = GIGGETY! Y'all keep'em coming.

Hang in there Matt, stay safe and get 'er done. There will be treasures waiting for you when you get back home. Hook up with a detecting club when you return and get hunting as soon as you can. We will then marvel at your finds! Thanks for your service. Sub

be safe,,,,,,,,,, i hate that sand over there

Warzone aside - if you could freely detect, I would be looking for gold/silver cashes in the floors of huts, or ancient sites.

But you have work to do....etc.

Stay safe brother!! U.S. Navy Seabee UT2 1985-1994

Thanks for the service... Get home safe and find that hidden treasure!

Thanks all. Well over the hump here, just a few months to go. I'm an Air Force mechanic (trucks not jets) and was able to go out and play with EOD, not something I do regularly. My AF school was at Port Hueneme in Cali so I am quite familiar with the SeaBee's. Hope everybody continues finding the good stuff. HH!
