Found this in a farm field in south coast Massachusetts that dates back to the early to mid 1800's.... Wondering what it could be if anything?

having some curvature to it and a place for a set screw, it reminds me of an air intake adjuster from a gas valve. not sure if that's what it is though

My guess would be a blade leg from a 220 volt plug? dryer or some 220 volt motor.
