Just Some Oldies.............

Got chance to do a little MD'ing this afternoon. I picked a spot that in the past turned up some Rev. War buttons.It's the site that gave me the continental 10 th Reg. button & a LT.Tudor Rose in the past.Well not much from it this time.It has grown up pretty bad maybe it will get mowed back down soon.But there is still hope as I was able to squeak out some stuff even with it being so hard to work.Always nice just to get out & find anything from this era for me.Anyway it is what it is..............

Not sure about the one piece but it sure does remind me of a powder horn end from the period.Not sure what else it could be.

After sleeping on it I think it must of been somekind of lid.Maybe to a inkwell/mustard pot.............heavy for size what ever it went to.

Thanks Guy's,forgot about this little cuff link button until I cleaned out my pouch today.Tried to clean it up but not much luck.Looks to have some sort of carved seen on it.It's thin as paper & a little odd compared to others I've found.Anyway that's it now, just thought I'd post it in case someone else has one in better shape.May be a one of a kind deal.
