Hey Ken, would be happy to help.
First read the manual.
put some coins and rings under a hunk of carpet or whaterver you have so you can not see them in a place where there are few targets on a lawn on drive way and see if you can identify them.
Next day read the manual cover to cover again.
Go out in the yard and use your machine, did up any signal that repeats left and right.
Next day read the manual cover to cover.
User you machine again for another day.
Come ask questions or PM me a phone number would be happy to talk with you since it is a much faster way to answer multiple questions.

I think that you made a good decision Ken, alot of bang for the buck, was contemplating buying one a while back, there are dd nel coils made for them too, jhar

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm really looking forward to the GT.

Well, I've used the GT for about a week now and I'm really impressed with it. Very stable, fast, and accurate. Just loving it!
Haven't used my ATP since I got it and I'm finding just as much if not more. Five stars for the GT.

You like those 9 tones do you? ;-)

I've had mine for a year and love it......also have the sunray inline pinpointer attached to it. I have found silver rings, a truck load of clad etc. I don't use discriminate .....and just ignore the iron sounds. Hope to get the Nel coil because I need more depth. Happy hunting.

I make covers for the GTs battery box and mx5 posted in for sale section
