Hi Phil and welcome to the group. With a buggy like that you will be able to get places others can't.
We just got a Kymco UXV (UTV) ourselves and it is unreal. Just make a bracket to hold your detector, throw in the camping gear and go forever... Happy hunting

Sweet lookin ride you got there. I was thinking about drilling a few holes and using a couple those v-shaped gun rack mounts. I'd like to keep it in the cab where I can keep an eye on it and for narrow places. Shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Well, welcome to mugshots & Tnet, Phil. My wife has worked at Keystone for about 7 years now (free 'dependent' ski pass for me) and I got a lot of friends over in Summit Cove. I don't ski or snowboard, but I wish they would let me detect the slopes in the off-season.

I don't know why they wouldn't if you didn't tear things up, it's a mountain side. At any rate I bet there's a lot of good stuff up there. I know folks who have lost rings just from taking their gloves off. I wonder if you could do it at A-Basin.
