It was a nice day to get out detecting, I went down to the 1806 site, but there was winter wheat planted, so I decided to go else where. I stopped buy another site I came across last year. The site is not that old, but who knows what one may find. The site is near the rail road, this site is full of iron, there are not that many good finds yet, lots of glass & china. The first thing I found was the 1937 dog tag, I can't figure why they needed dog tags in those days. The next was the half of a broken threadless insulator, I wish it were whole, the last item was this older marble. So that was my day of detecting then I got a call on my cell phone, it was my boss calling to say they needed me to work for several hours, a little extra cash always is nice. Brian C.
