Just got back from night school

Well I just got back from another trip to a local elementary school managed to find another silver ring and I thought a gold ring. In the front of the school under a birch tree I got a penny signal dug down about 3 inches and there in the hole was what looked like a gold ring. When I got home I realized it said AVON I think and is made of brass, Oh well maybe next time. Thanks for looking and HH
