While researching this machine I think I read about the question I am about to ask. I just cant find it. There is a small space (not waterproof) where the housing of the coil wire coming out of the shaft and (maybe) power wire screw into the main body. I am guessing this space is suppose to fill with water when submerged. Am I right? Are there any extra precautions I should take to make sure I don t fry this machine. I hope this makes sense.

When you slide back the housing to change the coil just hook it up and snap the housing back together. All should be well. Does it fill up with water? Who knows. I think you can trust the design on that matter. I understand the concern,it's a lot of cash.

Thanks for the help idx

The spot you are taking about is not an issue that I'm aware of. The connectors seal up just fine.

The battery, make sure it's on correctly and the gasket is free of any sand or debris.

Should be peachy keen then.

Just stay within published limits.

Thanks

yeah, its fine. just give it a good rinse in fresh water after being in salt and your good to go.

That makes me feel better, thanks
