Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I picked up my new Compadre from the Post Office Friday. Had it fired up and running in about 20 minutes after getting home. My first dig was old ball of tin foil, second signal was good, couldn't discriminate it out, turned up a 1952 Wheat penny! I realized how lucky I was after digging about 20 more signals with nothing but can parts and a copper thermocouple(excellent signal by the way!). I did find a 1964 copper penny, and a 72 Quarter, and a lot more trash but am excited to get home Friday and resume my search! I had a old Whites Surf PI I picked up at a auction, but got discouraged realizing it wasn't made for yards and such. Great site, you got me excited again. Thanks Dale
