Yesterday me and my best friend Dave where doing some scouting here in the eastern part of KY. When we came across what looked like an old cave so we entered thinking maybe we could find some old artifacts or something of the sort. Well loe and behold it was no cave upon further examination we noticed it was an old abandon mine so we proceded with caution and got prob 500 feet back and saw what we thought was possibly some silver ore, but it turned out to be pyrite LOL yea i know right. But we decided to go just a little further. And that's when we found it. We found to what looked to be cloth bags maybe like old potato sacks full of some type of ore and it wasn't quite like the pyrite that had fooled us earlier. so we decided to haul this stuff out and have a good geolagist friend of mine do some testing on it. Well we dropped it off at his house late last night and he just called asking me where in gods earth did I find this stuff. He said it was some of the highest grade silver ore he had ever seen. So there you go folks who says you can never get lucky. But I will be posting some pictures for all to see and we are going back this weekend to do some real treasure hunting, Keep you guys posted..
