I have gone over this particular part of the site where I found this coin several times. We had a day and a half of rain, so I went down for a couple of hours. On my way our I was swinging my coin fast and a loud signal rang 25 cents. I figured it was a recently dropped quarter, because I have gridded this area a few times. Then up it came this beautiful large cent in great condition. I think its 180? something. I don't think I am going to put blue ribbon on this one. I like how it looks in its natural state. This hobby is awesome. :laughing7:

Gee, those are fun to find. The last one I dug was under similar circumstances with recent rain. Nice coin.

It almost looks like 1804 to me, maybe.

Great finds. I have also gone over a spot numerous times and everytime I hit I find yet more. I will keep hitting till It gives no more.

Nice find...one awesome hobby for sure ! :icon_thumleft:

Thank you all for the comments and thank you for not mentioning my signature trademark(hack) that I seem to be accustomed to leaving on every coin i have dug lately. ;D
