Hay Folks,

I got up early to beat the heat. By 8:00 am I had hunted
a double valley ball court and four tot lots,

All I got was $3.75 in clad and a sparkly mood ring,

When I got home I started to empty my pockets in a cup.
The problem was, the cup was full from the last few hunts.

So, I started separating the coins,

and the jewelry,

from all the junk,

I picked up this ring and said to my self, " self, this was a
hart stopper! " It was not marked.

Just then, the thought crossed my mind, I never checked it?

Well,

Holly Moley!!!!! It's a 18k gold diamond ring with a pretty blue
stone!!!

Great ring! a lot of people don't think there"s nothing at playgrounds, what people don't think of though is that the moms and dads are playing with the kids. a lot of folks take their jewelry off before to play with the kids

Congratulations on the great ring, TabDog. Can you tell me more about the gold tester? Was it expensive, does it work well, etc.? Thanks for any info, T.

Good hunt that ring pays for gas for more hunts :icon_thumleft: Dd60

Nice spam in your signature (prior poster) ???

How does that electronic tester tell solid from plated??
I have the kind that has the chemical paper, it is supposed to show plated from solid (line fades out quick on plated) but I had a ring it said was solid 10k and then a jeweler tested it and said it wasnt even gold... Got the acid kit then... It is kind of a pain though, would sure be nice to have it simple like yours apparently is...

Nice finds..

Great looking ring... If that stone is real that ring is worth some serious cash. Please fill us in all in on how that
gold machine works???
