Second day at new field, finally found a area at one end that had many large stones and around it it had a bunch of chips and flakes, I found most of these brokes in that area. I was only there for about a hour and the sky started to change. Thats ok, maybe a turd floater will wash this field off so I can find me some whole points. I got home just in time, should be a nice day hunting tommorow. A nice picture in there of some pretty red-purple lithic. Thanks for looking....... JYD

where there's brokes, there's whole points too, nice variety of materials, that red flint is great looking lithic material.

Man he is not kidding you should do well there after that storm passes. Great looking stuff for sure. Good luck JYD

Nice, broken or not... I get a lot of broken ones too, but figure they're the ones that actually saw use.

heck, I thought I was the only one to be cursed with broken points in my fields. i have the WORST luck when it comes to perfect artifacts.. But I agree, where there are broken ones, there are not broken ones. My downfall is that i spend more time in the plowed fields and less time in the river and creeks. But i am starting to re-arrange my ratio of creeks to fileds out of frustration.

JYD,

You have a nice variety of material there. You will come up w/some good ones.

That was a wicked sky commin at you. We have to get some rain here , everything is planted and just begging for a good washdown.

Good luck after the rain!!
