Just got back from 1/2 an hour screw off trip to the thrift store on the way back from getting things my wife says we need at Walmart. Found a Waterford stem for a dollar and this little case I first thought was just another old light meter as it had NIKON on it. Inside the case I find these very cute vintage mini Nikon opera binoculars marked $5.99 and its half-off-Saturday, "hoorah". I checked eBay and it looks like I could get between $40. to $70. out of em. They're in excellent shape and very well made. I really like em!

Nice pair of vintage titanium binoculars. I tend to stay away from the light meters myself.

Sure thing.Old light meters are neat to look at, but no market for them anymore I would think. I think I'll check out light meter higest prices sold on eBay as I'm now curious. I've seen them from time to time in trift stores. How they package them always catches my eye and I just need to see whats in that cool looking little case. So you say the binoculars are titanium? I didn't know that.

Cool stuff! I collect old cameras and photography equipment, there is a small market out there, but prices are pretty low on most items except the top of the line stuff.

I picked up a very nice condition Yashica TLR for $40.00 and kept it a long time thinking i'd try it out some day. I put it up on auction and it did fetch $190.00. I herd if one takes a photography class they need to purchase a 35mm SLR for study. I did find a great condition Canon A-1 for $10.00 and sold it for $50. or so. Do you know if photo schools still require you bring a good 35mm SLR? to start out with in class? If they do, I'd think there would be still a market for that kind of camera.
