I was tossing some of the trash I picked up on my last few times out and I found this item in the bucket. I forgot I had put it there but it interested me enough in the field that I kept it and I thought I would look at it again. It was found in a field that has had evidence of Native American activity but also activity from early Colonial to present. Also there are rocks there- lots of typical rocks ;D

It is ballpark about 3" x 3" and weights a bit under 10 oz.

There has been plow activity on this field too so I guess anything is possible from that perspective.

Any opinions?

Thanks ;D

Ok that's likely it :icon_thumleft:

It has a nice feel to it so I'll keep it around. ;D

Re: Just a Rock?

Bramble, the first pic reminds of the heart shaped Valentine's cookies I made last February and left them in the oven too long. :laughing7:

Was this rock near a river? It looks tumbled.
