I always wanted to go mud larking on the Missouri River. You’d have to catch it at low water. St. Joseph was the jump off point for people traveling west in the 1800s. Seems like there should be a lot of artifacts around there. Good luck to you!
 

You could be the one who finds the actual location of Ft. de Cavagnial. The ruins of this fort was last reported to be seen by the Lewis & Clark exposition in 1804. Today the exact location of this 18th century French fort remains a mystery.
