Hi Folks, Well today I got out for a bit and found a few goodies on my friends property. The first target my buddy darn near split a gut laughing. He was certain the dirt was telling me something..lol

Nothing super old that I can tell and only one coin, a 1941 wheat. I didn't take a picture but I did have one suspender clip with a 1880 pat. date..

But the one I am really wondering about is the triangle. It is about 2.75" across with some neat design. It appears to have what used to be a clip soldered on it. I found it in front of a old 1870's house. Let me know if you have any idea. thanks

Good digs bro, come on out?

Thanks Brad! You know it, Let me know when a good time is for you!! More than likely after the first of the year or spring. Helping my mother out a bunch right now. Just had heart surgery.

Thanks Mike!! The navy lock is cool, I am figuring it is WW2 or so. Trying to find the maker right now:)

Hey Jack, That art-deco triangle broach is cool, and the "Dick" is part of a vintage Dick Tracy cap gun. Cheers, Sub 8-)

Your triangle looks like to me as a western shirt collar clip. Back during the 50s we used to put them on the points of our western shirt collars for dress up occasions. By the way you can still get them. They usually were either silver and gold plated or made of "German silver". back would either have a clip or a screw post to secure to the shirt. Good finds partner.

Congratulations on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Thanks guys.. might be a little big for a collar clip. But I will look into it.

I just added another shot of the Triangle. Pretty sure it is a brooch like Sub thought.

Maybe. I looked up "adlo" and "aldo" and couldn't find anything. The art deco design could be very possible too. May stay a mystery:D
