No complaints here! This was fun!

Some sort of kid's bling I reckon.

:dontknow: Not sure what it is but it has a mirror on the other side.

AND, I'll tell you!! It's positively FREAKY! Looking down into a hole and seeing yourself looking back!! LOL
Scared me!! LOL

I also got one of those hits we all long for, I don't know what it interprets to on other machines but on
the ATP I got a solid, fairly deep, repeatable hit. That's all well and good. But it was ringing in as a SOLID 92-96!!!

I know I've hit solids like this before and they were usually something like a large brass bolt or copper tube. This one really,
really sounded good! That short/coin style hit and solidly 92!

It turned out to be two clad quarters stuck together! :( Ah well, could be worse. :)

Dunno if Blingie is planning on using it, or if he's thinking about two timing
his lil friend with the new one he just found. ;)

Thanks for peeking!

Your post look like you always enjoy your finds, good photos, comments and Blingie always keeps them interesting.
Thanks for posting and HH

Nice finds!
So Blingie is a VIP and a "player" now! Lol!

That would scare the heck out of me if I looked in and ANYTHING was staring back at me that didn't look like a coin!

I hit a tot lot today still no silver or gold! I will either have to start digging everything or get better places to detect. I know it's out there I just can't get the coil over any! Knowing Murphy, I will find a literal "ton of gold" and not be able to take it home! Lol!

Nice hunt, looks to b about 6 bucks for your efforts! Sweet

That's what it's all about, friend. As long as this still makes us happy, we will continue it. Putting pressure on ourselves to find rare items just kills the joy. Good luck on the next one!

Looks like a mini time capsule like the one I buried in my BF's backyard when I was younger, late 70's. Mine's in a little cough drop tin and I know it's probably still there too.

This brought back the memory. Thanks for posting it and congrats!

It's funny you should mention a time capsule. Back in the 50's I buried one of those tall olive jars
with a metal lid in my backyard. It was intentionally done as a time capsule. It had one of each denomination
of coin. Plus a paper dollar, a silver certificate. I wanted the discoverer to have a happy find.

This was long before detectors came into my life. I was truly burying for a future generation. LOL Dunno,
guess I was just "special" that way. LOL

Anyway, I did search for that thing for years after I started detecting. It had been in the ground for 2 decades
at least before I started looking. Never found it and now I don't have permission to hunt there. (out of the family)
So, I knew where a cache was even buried and I STILL couldn't find it!!! LOL

Thanks for bringing that memory back! :)

Nice haul. GL&HH.
