I've been hitting this old Toboggan hill since early fall, and now the finds are getting fewer, but almost every time i go out there i manage to find at least 1 silver. This was my first coin find yesterday. I also found a 1941 and 1946 Nickel. My goal for this year is to find at least 1 silver coin or jewelry per month and so far I've found 3 quarters, 2 nickels 2 dimes as well as 3 Indian head cents. It's pretty amazing to find a coin this old in such great shape.

A very nice 1919 dime!

I like your MD goals!

AND A BEAUTIFUL SILVER IT IS...

Well she would have been prettier if you didn't rub the dirt off of it. IF you find a 1916D dime and do that you will rub hundreds of dollars off the value. Nice snag but be very careful with silver.

Nice and pretty

Congrats on a very nice looking find! She's a beauty!
I like your goals... reasonable yet attainable.
Keep at it and good luck! :occasion14:

Thanks everyone, and I've learned something new. I guess I'll be bringing a little squeeze bottle of water with me for my future hunts.

Nice Mercury dime score, congratulations! :occasion14:

Now that is a site. You have done your research.
