Quick hunt this morning before work. It's funny because I posted yesterday that I found my first utensil (a pickle fork) and today I found another...a spoon! Yeah I know, not too exciting, but I'm curious if anyone knows the marking on it. It looks aged correctly for a relic, but it's also bent perfectly for a heroin spoon! Maybe it's a relic heroin spoon!?!? Who knows ;)

Anyways, it's marked "Lashar" and before that name there's a square box. Any info would be great!

Also got a 1919-S wheat penny! Always fun to dig those!

HH everyone! Take care..

Sgt

If it was a heroin spoon there would be burn marks on the bottom from heating with a lighter looks kinda modern to me but you can probably google the name and see Thanks for sharing!!!!! Nice wheatie

I know, I know....the heroin part was a joke. It's definitely a period spoon. Found deep in an old area. Found a little on google but wanted to see if anyone knew about this little da stuff here. I'm definitely no spoon/fork expert. Thanks for the look

"Little da" ???? My last post was supposed to say "...this kinda stuff here" lol. Sorry bout that!

Nice 1919-S Wheat Cent and IMMHO I would consider the spoon old enough to call a relic.

Sorry could not get the first link to post but check out the a similar spoon on feebay!!!! link above 1910 1920 era!!!!

Oh my!! That's like identical to the one I found! Ok great!! Copper!!! That makes so much more sense. I found a bunch of Lashar silver pieces but mine was obviously not silver. But copper makes way more sense to what it is. It's pitted and discolored like all the other 100 year old copper relics I find in that area. Sweet!! Thanks for helping me out A2. Much appreciated

That 1919s wheat penny is in great shape.
Congrats

Thank you!! Yeah I've been in that era quite a bit lately: found the 1919, a 1920 last week and a 1917 a couple weeks ago. Always fun finding those old wheats

Beautiful 1919 S Lincoln cent, congratulations!
