Junior Fire Chief badge age?

Hello!

Anyone know anything about this Junior Fire Chief badge? age? where it's from, etc? Any info would be GREAT!

It's about 1.5 inches wide, and about 1.66 inches tall. I assume there use to be a pin on the back side ~ but it's gone now.

I've never seen a metal one. I can only remember plastic ones even as a kid. That's pretty cool.

I cant find this particular one but it has the same eagle and center as some official badges. http://www.ilovelbny.com/LBPD.html
