July has been a very good month for a lot of us. Especially the last week or two with more full rolls reported than any time I can remember. (In my year and 1/2 of hunting.)

Of corse hats off to ArkieBassMan he has the find of the month if not the year. But maybe not there is still 3 days more in July.

It just goes to show no mater how dry things seem to be getting, As Rileyboy says "It is still out there".

Also it seams to me you don't need a ton of $$ to find it. Most of the full rolls seamed to come in fairly small buys. Mine came with only 2 other rolls.

Just some thoughts, late at night. Happy hunting everyone and stay safe.

I was thinking about this the last few days as well...(all the amazing finds). It is very exciting for me because I believe it goes to show you how cyclical this hobby is. I hear most of us here talking about how it is getting harder and harder to find and soon will be impossible.. I wonder if that is even true, obviously as more people figure out about the price of silver, and that there are silver coins out there... It is probably becoming more and more competetive. But, as far as drying up to the point where there isnt any silver in circulation anymore? I dont think that is even remotely possible. People with silver die everyday, just to have there coin turned in. People who havent died take their silver to the bank to cash it in... everyday. So the question becomes, with the economy being terrible, and getting worse, will the rate of silver being turned in ever become greater than the rate CRH'ers are pulling it out? I am guessing that rate is cyclical too.. Any thoughts?

Not just the passing of the previous generation or two. Stealing of old coins by kids and the less desirable of our society will contribute to alot of silver quarters, dimes, and halves.

I intend to spend my silver before I go back to dust, so you guys can just look for it then. I won't need it.

July has been a good month for Tanner and I, probably because we have started making more banks stops. Yes it is still out there.

Today I worked in Convington Ohio, West Bloomfield, MI and Flat Rock, MI. I stopped at 7 banks in Ohio, I picked up $550 in halves all customer rolled. The last bank I stopped at, Chase I bought $440 from two different tellers, leaving about $150 in halves behind as I ran out of cash. I ended up with 2 40% and one 90%. I put 500 miles on my car today, my GPS points out banks that I am passing. I easily passed over 150 banks that I did not stop at (how many of them had silver coins in them?). There are a lot of banks out there to visit. With a lot of chances for scoring good coins. The only way to find it is to "Keep on Searching"
